Today, a large number of police officers, who work in organizational units in Podgorica, Herceg Novi, Kotor, Tivat, Budva and Bar, joined the humanitarian action and voluntarily donated blood.
A total of 55 police officers donated blood, the Police Directorate wrote on Twitter.
"Today, another 55 members of the police donated blood to those who need it the most. Blood was donated by colleagues from the Herceg Novi Security Center with the associated Kotor and Tivat security departments, colleagues from the Budva Security Center and the Herceg Novi Border Police Station. The Bar police joined the voluntary donation campaign of blood, which the police started last week with the Blood Transfusion Institute of Montenegro. Colleagues from Bar also confirmed in this way that citizens can count on them, even in cases when they need this precious liquid," they wrote on Twitter from Police Department.
With this, the voluntary blood donation campaign that the Police Administration started last week with the Institute for Blood Transfusion of Montenegro continued.
"That apart from police work, responsibility towards the community is also important, the members of the police in action showed today, as they have done so far," said the UP.
