The Council noted that the approach of the church authorities is completely different from what was previously manifested in Ostrog.

The Council for Civil Control of Police Work directly monitors the actions of police officers in front of the Cathedral Church of St. Vasilij Ostroški in Nikšić.

The Council is aware that the Church Municipality of Nikšić has not officially informed the CB Nikšić about the possible organization of the procession.
"The Council is aware that social distance was not respected even inside the cathedral", said the Council, as well as that at the beginning of the procession, Bishop Joanikije called on citizens to maintain social distance.
The Council for Civil Control of Police Work notes that the police act according to the law, they document every activity of citizens and priests and inform the state prosecutor of everything.
