The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Montenegro, Vladimir Božović, spoke at the Bishop's Palace in Nikšić with Bishop Joaniki of Nikšić-Budimlje and the priests who were released from custody last night.
As announced by the Embassy of Serbia, the interlocutors concluded that everyone should work in the spirit of peace, love, mutual appreciation and respect and contribute to the brotherly and friendly relations between Serbia and Montenegro.
It is added that Božović conveyed the greetings of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and the Serbian people to Joaniki and the priests.
"And he expressed his belief that all misunderstandings and problems will be resolved peacefully, through dialogue and with full respect for both the domestic laws of the state of Montenegro and international norms and standards. Bishop Joanikije warmly and humanly thanked on behalf of the priests of Nikšić and on his own behalf for the great speed , the attention and love they felt from brotherly Serbia".

The announcement also adds that Joanikije introduced Božović with his view of all events.
"He thanked through him and all the other ambassadors in Montenegro who expressed interest and concern for the past events," the announcement concludes.
