The entrance exam for the Pharmacy study program of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montenegro (UCG) will not be taken this year, the UCG announced.

The vice-dean for teaching at the Faculty of Medicine, Aleksandra Božarić Vuksanović, said that at the Faculty of Medicine, candidates interested in admission will take the entrance exam for study programs in Medicine and Dentistry, in chemistry and biology.

"The material for the preparation of the entrance exam in biology and chemistry are high school textbooks, which according to the Rulebook meet the criteria for admission to the Faculty of Medicine, and according to the model of the field, the brochures "Collection of problems in biology and chemistry for the preparation of the entrance exam, Belgrade 2009 - for taking the entrance exam," said Božarić Vuksanović.

According to her, the great interest of the best students in enrolling in all study programs of the Faculty of Medicine is representative of the status of that faculty in the educational process of higher education institutions in Montenegro.

"Studying at the Faculty of Medicine is synonymous with learning and a way of life. I want to tell all interested candidates to make the right choice of the most humane job in the world of treating and saving other people's lives by selecting their interests," said Božarić Vuksanović.

She stated that last year the Faculty of Medicine filled all places in the first enrollment period for academic study programs.

Božarić-Vuksanović said that there were 56 students enrolled in the Medicine study program, 20 students in Dentistry, 30 students in Pharmacy, and 50 students in the Applied Medical School and Applied Physiotherapy programs.

"You will be proud of your profession, and you can acquire it with full dedication, lifelong work, persistence and many years of renunciation, ready to put your time in the service of preserving health and treating people, and with the desire to be proud of your profession", said Božarić Vuksanovic.
