The Public Works Administration passed today the Decision on awarding a contract for the construction of a kindergarten in Block Six in Podgorica, worth close to two million euros. According to the Administration, it is a project within the framework of the arrangement of the Government of Montenegro with the Development Bank of the Council of Europe, with the aim of expanding the capacity and improving the conditions of stay of children and employees in preschool institutions.
As announced by the Administration, the only offer at the invitation of the Public Works Administration in the national procedure for the selection of contractors was submitted by the Danilovgrad-Podgorica consortium, which consists of the companies "Eurozoks", "Hidrogis sistem", "Netcom" and "Geotin MNE". The deadline for construction of the facility is 12 months from the introduction of the contractor to the job.

The new facility will have an area of nearly 1.600 square meters, and it is planned to accommodate 215 children. It will contain work rooms, multi-purpose space, triage, space for preventive health care, offices, kitchenette, laundry, technical and other supporting rooms.
The process of selecting expert supervision over the construction of the kindergarten is underway, and after its completion, preparations will begin for the introduction of the contractor to the work.
"Thanks to the cooperation with the Development Bank of the Council of Europe, in the past three years, new kindergartens have been opened in Zagorič, at the Old Airport and in Tuzi, and the preparation of technical documentation for the construction of kindergartens in Ulcinj, Pljevlja and Bar is underway," concludes the announcement of the Administration of Public works.
