The Montenegrin police cooperates openly and in all aspects with the Serbian police in the fight against all forms of crime, especially in the fight against organized crime, said the Director of the Police Administration, Veselin Veljović, who today met with the Serbian Ambassador to Montenegro, Vladimir Božović.
Veljović added that continuous good cooperation in the investigations of the most serious crimes gives concrete results and that the exchange of data takes place in real time.
At the meeting, as announced by the Police Administration, it was assessed that there is a relationship of trust and partnership between the police of the two countries, and that this relationship is an example of excellent regional police cooperation.
Veljović, it is added, informed the ambassador about the exceptional results achieved in the field of international police cooperation, which resulted in large seizures of drugs.
Božović, as stated in the announcement, assessed that the Police Directorate performs a very difficult and responsible job in preserving peace and stability, recognized the professionalism of the Montenegrin police and the high degree of responsibility in their actions when it comes to consular cooperation between Serbia and Montenegro.
The interlocutors, as concluded in the announcement, praised the work of the border police of both countries.
