Vujović is being replaced because of a couple of trips to Kopaonik

As of today, Vladimir Vujović will almost certainly not be at the head of the Budva Waterworks.

He should be dismissed at today's session of the Board of Directors, whose support he lost, it was confirmed by the "News" in the Budva Democrats, one of the coalition parties in power.

Yesterday, Vujović preempted the intention to remove him and requested that the Board of Directors relieve him of his duties because his financial statement of operations for 2017 and plan for this year were not adopted on the eve of the New Year.

According to the coalition agreement, the post of director of the Waterworks went to the Democratic Front, and this will be the second change in that position since the opposition coalition took over the management of Budva.

Marko Radoman, Vujović's predecessor, resigned from the position of director after half a year of work, with the mutual consent of both DF and him.

Vujović was appointed almost four months ago, but even his work was not to the liking of the Municipality management.

The final straw for Vujović's dismissal came in January when photos of his company car on Kopaonik, where he allegedly spent the winter with his family, were published on social networks.

Relations were also strained when the Management Board of the strongest company in Budva refused to pay 1,2 million euros of its obligations for the maintenance of the waste water treatment plant, which was contractually obligated.

Vujović then told "Vijesta" that the municipality's obligations towards "Vodovod" should be determined and the debt offset.

He pointed out that they have an enforcement order for half a million and that through the bailiffs they can block the account of the Municipality and collect the debt.

According to official data, the debt of municipal institutions and services for used water amounts to almost one and a half million euros and was incurred in previous years.
