Minister of Education Damir Šehović said that he hopes that the third tender for the purchase of thirty buses for the needs of transporting children to schools throughout Montenegro will be successful.
"That tender was announced on May 20 this year, I hope that very soon in the next months, we will be able to import 30 buses", said Šehović in response to the question of the deputy of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Mirsad Mulić, who was interested in how far the vehicle procurement procedure has come. and whether it will be chosen for the Rožaj area.
Šehović clarified that two tenders, announced in July and December last year, were suspended due to the complex procedure, and that the final decision on which schools will receive new vehicles has not yet been made.
"The priority will be to replace the oldest vehicles, as well as the terrain configuration," said Šehović.
He pointed out that the current government was sensitive to the needs of student transportation, which no other government had done in years past, and allocated two million euros for the purchase of new buses.
