The construction of the kindergarten in the Block VI settlement in Podgorica will begin in the coming days, and the deadline for the completion of the works is 12 months from the day of commencement of work, as specified in the construction contract, which the director of the Public Works Administration, Rešad Nuhodžić, signed today with the consortium led by the Danilovgrad company "Eurozoks". .
"It is an investment within the framework of the arrangement of the Government of Montenegro with the Development Bank of the Council of Europe, worth two million euros, with the aim of expanding the capacity and improving the conditions of stay of children and employees in preschool institutions", the government announced.
The new kindergarten will have an area of nearly 1.600 square meters, and it is planned for 215 children.
"It will contain work rooms, multi-purpose space, triage, space for preventive health care, offices, kitchenette, laundry, technical and other supporting rooms. In addition to 'Eurozoks', the consortium consists of Podgorica companies 'Hidrogis sistem', 'Netcom' and 'Geotin MNE'. The procedure for contracting expert supervision over the construction of the kindergarten is underway, after which the conditions will be met for the start of the work," the Government explained.
Thanks to the cooperation of the Government of Montenegro with the Development Bank of the Council of Europe, in the past three years new kindergartens were opened in Zagorič, at the Old Airport and in Tuzi.
"The procedure for contracting works on the kindergarten in Pljevlje is underway, as well as the preparation of technical documentation for the construction of kindergartens in Ulcinj and Bar".
