Members of the Mountain Rescue Service of Montenegro completed the rescue operation in the region of Mount Orjen and handed over the injured mountaineer Marija Benderać (42) from Herceg Novi to the emergency team after transport.
Three members of the Herceg Novi Protection Service and one member of the Subra Mountaineering Club also took part in the action, the GSS announced.
A woman was injured while hiking on Orjen, and members of the Mountain Rescue Service of Montenegro started a rescue operation earlier today.
GSS previously said that the call for help was sent via OKC 112 of the Directorate for Emergency Situations of the MUP.
