Prime Minister Duško Marković said today that the Science and Technology Park represents one of the biggest investments in knowledge.
“There is no waiting. Nor will we save money on such projects," he said.
"In Montenegro, the scientific and technological potential lies in the youth," he pointed out.
"This project represents a kind of upgrade of the University of Montenegro," he added.
The Minister of Science, Sanja Damjanović, said today at the celebration of the construction of the Science and Technology Park that she is grateful to Prime Minister Duško Marković and the members of the Government for their understanding of the importance of the project.
"And for supporting the investment of 8 million euros in the completion of this building," she said.
"We know that our citizens also support this decision, because numerous initiatives, especially by young people, went in this direction. This is not just another facility, this is the center and driver of a new force for our economy from which we expect a quick return on this investment."
Damjanović said that she is sure that together with other instruments to support the development of innovations, they will create an excellent result that will be felt by the entire Montenegrin society.
Director of NTP Velibor Bošković said that the park will be a home for all innovative companies and individuals who base their businesses on knowledge, innovation and the latest technologies.
"A special segment of our activities will be aimed at supporting the development of startup companies that have a high potential for growth and export of their products and services," said Bošković.
The director explained that the building of the future NTP was designed in accordance with the most modern architectural and technological standards.
The building, he points out, sets new standards for smart construction and energy efficiency.
