The Children's Sports project includes the co-financing of membership fees for children engaged in sports activities in sports clubs, said the Minister of Sports and Youth, Nikola Janović.
Today, he held a meeting with representatives of 12 national sports federations on the occasion of the implementation of the Children's Sports project.
It was announced that at the meeting it was agreed to intensify the activities related to the registration of sports clubs in order to enable as many children as possible to play sports.
"The idea of co-financing newspaper membership fees is in Montenegro, which was initiated by the Ministry of Sports and Youth," said Janović.
He said that the goal of the ministry headed by him is to provide help to parents in involving their children in sports activities.
"The goal is to expand the base of athletes, and at the same time help sports clubs," said Janović.
