Great Britain stands for non-discrimination on any basis, including sexual orientation and gender identity, said the British ambassador to Montenegro, Alison Kemp.
"We work to promote diversity, tolerance and protect the rights of LGBT+ people, who should be treated with the same respect and rights as everyone else," Kemp said on Twitter.
The draft law on life partnership of persons of the same sex was included in the agenda of the Parliament of Montenegro and is the third item of the fifth session of the first spring session, which began on June 23.
