The Council of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK) announced the fifth public competition for the selection of the Agency's director, and candidates, in addition to other requirements, must submit at least three opinions on professional and work qualities.
The deadline for submitting applications is 20 days.
In addition to the general requirements for working in state bodies, candidates for the directorship of KAS must have a higher education and ten years of work experience, of which at least five years in the field of fighting corruption or protecting human rights.
"Candidates must have at least three opinions on professional and work qualities from a company, other legal entity or entrepreneur with whom he works or has worked, that is, with whom he has achieved business cooperation," says the competition, which was published on Tuesday.
The candidate for the director of KAS is obliged to submit an explained proposal of the work program and key priorities of the Agency.
The director of the Agency cannot be elected a person who in the last ten years has performed or is performing the function of deputy or councilor, member of the Government, function in a political party, or a person who has been appointed or appointed by the Government or the Assembly as a public official in the last five years.
The Director of the Agency is elected for a five-year term and can be elected a maximum of two times.
In the previous three contests, the director of ASK was not elected because none of the candidates received the required majority.
No candidate applied for the fourth competition.
The acting director of KAS is Savo Milašinović, who was elected to that position on January 13 by the Council.
