In the last 24 hours, the laboratories of the Institute for Public Health of Montenegro (IZCG) completed the analysis of 475 samples for the new coronavirus, among which 47 results were positive.
These are patients from Rožaj (17), Podgorica (16), Tivat (5), Danilovgrad (2), Budva, Petnjica, Andrijevica, Bar, Herceg Novi, Cetinje and Nikšić.
Of the 47 newly discovered cases, 28 are contacts of previously confirmed cases, while the source of the infection is being sought for 17 patients.
"One death was also reported in a patient born in Rožaj in 1953. This is the thirteenth death since the beginning of the new coronavirus. Since the beginning of June, the total number of registered cases is 339, there are four deaths, and the number of active cases is 335," he says. in the announcement of the IJZCG.
The IJZCG said that since disease reports are received by the Institute from institutions that territorially cover several municipalities, a revision of the disease by municipality was carried out so that the active cases by municipality are:
