The Government of Montenegro will allocate 2,6 million euros for the implementation of the second phase of the interior decoration of the Đalovića Cave with accompanying facilities at the entrance, for which the Public Works Administration and the most favorable bidder in the public procurement procedure, the company "Permonte" from Podgorica, signed the contract today, the Government announced. Montenegro.
"The contractor undertook to complete the works within 365 days from the start of the work. The works include the installation of dedicated paths and the installation of special lighting, so that the interior of the cave is accessible to tourists, while at the same time preserving its exceptional natural values and decorations. Also, the planned facilities represent the exit station of the cable car, from which visitors will enter the cave via a special path," the announcement states.
From the Government of Montenegro, they add that the first phase of the arrangement of the cave and the construction of service facilities in front of it was contracted with the company "Novi Volvoks" at the end of March, and the value of that part of the work is two million euros.
"Tourist valorization of Đalovića Cave is one of the most valuable projects of the Government of Montenegro, which will completely change this part of the Bjelo Polje municipality and make it recognizable in the region and Europe. The contracted value of all works is about 23 million euros. Asphalting and other finishing works are underway on the approximately 5,7-kilometer long road Bistrica-Podvrh monastery, as well as the construction of a cable car to Đalovića Cave. For the needs of the complex, a new substation worth 1,2 million euros was built, with a complete supporting electrical infrastructure, "states in the announcement of the Government of Montenegro .
The construction of a new bridge on Bistrica has also begun, as part of the reconstruction of the section from Gubavče to Bistrica, and the preparation of technical documentation and the construction of a visitor center on the shore of Bistrica have also been contracted.
"The realization of this capital project will enable the creation of new jobs and give a strong impetus to the economic development of the entire northern region," concludes the Government of Montenegro.
