President of the Socialist People's Party of Montenegro, Vladimir Joković, congratulated on behalf of the SNP and in his own name July 21, the Day of the Municipality of Berane, to all its citizens.
"For several years now, the city under Jasikovac has deservedly held the title of the center of the Montenegrin north because the capable local self-government knows and knows how to run the city, caring equally for each of its citizens," he said.
He added that the fact that the city of Berane once bore the name of a national hero is proof that this region is particularly anti-fascist and that it has never and will never renounce anti-fascism.
"Evil is upon us again, only with a different name. They call it corona and we are fighting, like the whole world, with this unexpected scourge. Numerous citizens are being treated in the Beran hospital, and we wish them a speedy recovery and less work for the Beran doctors," Joković said. .
He said that the citizens of Beran have shown that they are determined to contribute to the development of their city with joint efforts.
"May it be so in the future because a better future for Beran and the whole of Montenegro is the common goal of all of us," reads the congratulatory message of SNP President Vladimir Joković.
