In the settlement of Bjeliši in Bar today around 18:XNUMX there was an environmental incident when a fire broke out near the Đinović bridge at a wild dump of discarded car tires.
Locals were disturbed by the large fire and smoke, and the Protection Service immediately sent its duty team to the scene, which works non-stop to put out the fire.
The head of the Bar Communal Police, Stevo Pejović, immediately went to the scene and told "Vijesta" that according to the first data, there were at least 500 discarded tires.
He said that he tried to get an environmental inspection, and that this is an escalation of the big environmental problem in Bar regarding the depositing of car and truck tires, for which disposal at the moment there is still no adequate location.
