Driblaja Dejan Savićević for a building permit

Budva's Secretariat for Urban Planning suspended the process of issuing a building permit to Dejan Savićević, after the famous football ace sent a letter to withdraw from the reconstruction of the "Vidikovac" restaurant.

The current president of the Football Association of Montenegro gave up the reconstruction of the restaurant above the Mogren beach, after he was previously informed by the municipalities that they could not issue him a permit because there is a moratorium on construction.

Savićević is the owner of one of the most popular restaurants in Budva, which has been closed for years.

"On October 13 last year, Savićević applied to the Secretariat for Urban Planning to issue a building permit for the reconstruction of a business building within the existing dimensions. On November 10, he was informed that the Secretariat could not issue a permit for reconstruction, because the decision of the President of the Municipality to prohibit construction was in force in the area of ​​the Detailed Urban Plan 'Budva - Center', and the application of which does not only apply to objects of general interest and family residential buildings. On January 22 of this year, Savićević informed the Secretariat that he was withdrawing the submitted request," the Secretariat's explanation of the decision reads.

According to cadastral records, the hospitality and business complex in Vidikovac has a total of 293 square meters, and includes two auxiliary buildings of 29 and 28 square meters each.

The once popular bar is 150 meters as the crow flies from the Old Town and is built on an attractive plot of 1.761 square meters with no freight.

"Vidikovac" has not been in operation for several years, not even in a representative edition.

Savićević previously leased the premises, and it is speculated that the reconstruction would be borne by the new tenant.

According to the cadastral records, Savićević also owns a 430-square-meter plot in Budva on Crvena glavica, close to Saint Stefan.
