Completed Youth Center and field in Bar

During his official visit to the municipality of Bar, the Minister of Sports and Youth, Nikola Janović, visited the primary school "Jovan Tomašević" in Virpazar, where the Ministry reconstructed the gymnasium, after which he opened a youth service in Bar with the president of the municipality, Dušan Raičević, according to a statement from the Ministry of Education.

Approximately 120.000 euros have been allocated to sports and youth infrastructure.

"I am happy that we had the opportunity to support three sports infrastructure projects in the municipality of Bar so far. Bar is a city of sports, and we have made an additional commitment to provide our athletes with even more favorable conditions for doing what they love. That the Ministry recognizes talented young athletes is evidenced by the fact that in Bar alone we have as many as 10 Ministry scholarship holders and five promising athletes," said Janović.

The Ministry points out that they work hard to affirm and implement youth policy and explain that youth services are places that encourage the strengthening of awareness of the importance of young people and their social role in order to achieve their well-being, promote and protect their interests and opportunities.

"The newly elected administrators of youth services perform their task in a very creative and responsible way, which makes me extremely happy. The goal of introducing the role of administrator is to empower the youth of Cnogorje and to show them that we believe in them," concluded Janović.

The President of the Municipality of Bar, Dušan Raičević, expressed satisfaction with the opening of the Youth Center, which "represents the product of continuous successful cooperation between the Municipality of Bar and the Ministry of Sports and Youth".

He said that after the adoption of the Law on Youth, the Local Action Plan for Youth, the Youth Center was opened, which clearly confirms that youth policy, creativity of young people and their initiatives are high on the list of local government priorities.

"I am sure that in this Center, through education and exchange of experiences, young people will recognize the possibility of contributing to the creation of local politics. I wish good luck to everyone who will take part in the work of the Center," Raičević concluded.
