The public invitation for the participation of employers in the Professional Training Program for persons with higher education was published today, and applications are submitted from September 15 to October 15.

The Ministry of Education said that employers from the private and public sector, who operate in Montenegro, can apply for participation in the Program, which is being implemented for the ninth year in a row.

"Applications for employers from the private sector are submitted to the regional unit of the Employment Service (labor office/office) according to the employer's headquarters and through the electronic administration portal (eAdministration). Employers from the public sector submit applications for participation in the Program to the Human Resources Administration and through the electronic administration portal," the announcement states.

Instructions for submitting an application for all employers via e-Administration are available on the portal www.euprava.me.

"Users of the Program will be given the opportunity to apply after the deadlines for employers' application have expired," the announcement says.

The Ministry stated that persons with higher education who do not have work experience in a certain level of education and are registered with the Employment Service have the right to professional training.

The user's professional training lasts nine months and is recognized as work experience lasting 12 months and as a condition for passing the corresponding professional exam with the acquired higher education.

"Employers are obliged to provide training to users in accordance with the Professional Training Program for persons with acquired higher education, while the expert team responsible for the implementation of the Program will control the implementation of the training," the announcement says.

As stated, the goal of the Program is to facilitate the transition of young people from the world of education to the world of work by providing opportunities for additional acquisition of knowledge, skills and competencies.

The program, as the Ministry said, should also contribute to the reduction of youth unemployment, which is faced by the whole of Europe, as well as provide guidance to institutions of higher education in designing enrollment policies.

"The program proved to be very successful, considering that about 50 percent of the program's users continued their work engagement, which undoubtedly contributes to the reduction of unemployment among young people," the statement added.

The public invitation was published on the websites of the Ministry of Education, the Employment Agency and the Personnel Administration.
