From September 19 to 24, the Tourist, Market and Labor Inspectorate issued 14 misdemeanor orders in the total amount of 15,7 thousand euros for violations of the Law on the Protection of the Population from Infectious Diseases and submitted one request for the initiation of misdemeanor proceedings.
The Directorate for Inspection Affairs (UiP) said that during that period, the Health and Sanitary, Tourism, Market, Labor Inspection and Gaming Inspection carried out a total of 1.591 inspections in order to verify compliance with the measures defined by the Law on the Protection of the Population from Infectious Diseases diseases.
The UiP told the MINA agency that 11 irregularities were found in the performed inspections, which related to the non-use of protective masks in facilities where catering, trade and crafts are carried out and non-observance of physical distance measures between people during their stay in facilities where catering is carried out.
As they stated, 4.292 decisions were issued to eliminate those irregularities.
"For committed violations, the Tourism, Market and Labor Inspectorates issued 14 violation orders in the total amount of 15,7 thousand euros. The Tourist Inspection also submitted a request to initiate a misdemeanor proceeding to the competent court," said the Administration.
UiP said that entrepreneurs were issued two misdemeanor orders in the total amount of 700 euros, companies six misdemeanor orders in the total amount of 12 thousand euros and six misdemeanor orders in the total amount of three thousand euros to the responsible persons in the companies.
From September 19 to 24, as they stated, the Tourist, Market and Labor Inspectorate issued the most fines in Bijelo Polje - eight misdemeanor orders in the total amount of 8,2 thousand euros.
"In Nikšić, the inspectorates issued two misdemeanor orders in the total amount of 2,5 thousand euros and one request to initiate misdemeanor proceedings, while in Podgorica and Kotor the same number of fines were imposed - two misdemeanor orders in the amount of 2,5 thousand euros each ", specified from UiP.
As they said, from September 19 to 24, the Health and Sanitary Inspection at border crossings and in the country implemented measures to prevent the introduction, suppression and spread of the coronavirus and issued a total of 4.291 decisions.
"In the 330 inspections carried out, no irregularities were found, because the employees complied with the prescribed measures of wearing masks and using disinfectants", said the UiP.
The UiP said that from September 19 to 24, 272 people were controlled and ordered to self-isolate, namely in Podgorica, Danilovgrad, Plav, Gusinje, Andrijevica, Ulcinj, Bar, Budva, Rožaje, Bijelo Polje and Mojkovac.
"Two irregularities were found - non-compliance with the decision on self-isolation in Rožaje and Bijelo Polje, for the elimination of which officers of the Police Administration will take measures in accordance with the regulations," the Administration stated.
