Member of the NGO "Montenegro Patriotic Thought" Andrija Ćetković reacted to the text published on September 27 under the title "Patriot measures 14 million".
We transmit the reaction in its entirety:
"I use this opportunity to inform you about the unprofessionalism and lack of ethics of ND "Vijesti" and journalist Damira Kalač, who, politically motivated, is trying to harm my personal and business integrity. measure 27 million" is trying to harm the private company "Cmiljača 9 Ski Resort" in a negative and tendentious way, all because of my political and national commitment.
Namely, the negative context that Ms. Kalač tries to forcefully build in her text, the scandalous equipment and the suggestion that I am doing something illegal, aims to discredit my personality and thereby destroy the professional reputation of the company I lead. In this way, they are trying to cause direct material damage to me, and political damage to my clients.
I am convinced that the only reason for this three-day ordered chase from the front pages of "Vijesti" is: my political affiliation and the absence of fear to show it.
The "independent" journalist "Vijesti" is hurt the most by the fact that, as a member of the NGO CPM, I only obeyed the law and tried to register the stage for the patriotic Montenegrin gathering exclusively according to the law. As the NGO CPM did not receive a response, the NGO and I gave up on further attempts to participate in organizing the meeting.
I use the opportunity to remind that the company is "Infinity Marketing", through which the journalist connects me with DPS because of the work she performed for that party, and for which there are corresponding contracts, and my ONLY obligation regarding Viber was to create visual solutions. The company "Infinity Marketing" cooperated with many other partners. The "Vijesti" journalist does not mention that, because it understandably does not correspond to the construction of a false context in which she wants to insert me at all costs.
The company "Infinity Marketing" cooperated with numerous international organizations and associations from the country and abroad, and also organized and participated in numerous socially responsible actions, such as collecting money for victims of the earthquake in Albania, printing biodegradable bags and actions that I am particularly proud of, which was positively reported by her media outlet "Vijesti" - "Summer at home". With the help of this non-profit action, many hoteliers received their guests despite the CoVid19 pandemic. During all this time, I regularly settled all the obligations I had towards the state of Montenegro. Every business move I make is in accordance with the laws and regulations of the state of Montenegro. Also, I appeared publicly and spoke in the media about all these projects. I would do the same with the "Cmiljača 1800 Ski Resort" project if it were to come to fruition. Ms. Damira Kalač's writing, which suggests without any evidence that something illegal was done in this project, is certainly aimed at causing business damage to the company, which will be part of a separate court proceeding against Ms. Kalač and her employers from ND Vijesti. Given that Mrs. Kalač, in her text, was also amateurish in estimating the earnings from the investment, her estimated 14 million, although they represent ignorance and stupidity, can certainly serve in further calculations of the damage caused to the company.
And finally, I feel sorry for all those who are deprived of the feeling of attachment and love for their country, Montenegro. My measure of patriotism is tax paid to the state, socially responsible work and the desire to attract investments. I successfully worked on exactly one such project until this media lynching and drawing of targets by ND Vijesti, exclusively on the basis of political and national affiliation.
I had the need to inform the public in this way, as a person who has collaborated with many people on numerous projects, about the current situation, since I believe that my human rights have been violated and that I am a victim of discrimination and political retaliation. I will inform the EU Delegation and the diplomatic corps, the NGO sector and journalists' associations about this media lynching, and I will also protect my rights through the courts," the response reads.
