The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Zoran Pažin and the former Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Genci Nimanbegu reported to the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption that they increased the family's vehicle fleets.
The Law on Prevention of Corruption stipulates that a public official is obliged to report an increase in assets worth more than 30 euros within 5.000 days.
Last Sunday, October 1, the Minister of Justice reported to the Agency that he became the owner of a five-year-old "Volkswagen Passat", for which, as the basis of acquisition, a purchase was registered.
Previously, on September 23, he resigned from the position of deputy of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in the Parliament of Montenegro.
According to the regular annual property record that he submitted in mid-March, his wife Nataša Pažin is the owner of a "Mercedes B160CDI" from 2008.
During the last year, Pažin earned around 2.730 euros, because in addition to the minister's salary of less than 1.585 euros, he also received 612 euros as a member of the Judicial Council, and another 536 as the president of the Government Commission for the Drafting of the Civil Code.
Nimanbegu reported in mid-September that his wife Vahida Hasanaga Nimanbegu became the owner of a new "dacia sandero".
In the extraordinary property register, it is stated that the market value of the car is 10.490 euros.
In August, Hasanaga Nimanbega took out two consumer loans of 5.600 and 11.000 euros, which she is repaying in installments of 95 and 210 euros.
According to the regular annual property record that he submitted at the end of March, Nimanbegu reported that he is the owner of a "Volkswagen Passat" from 2003 and a boat "Adriatik" from 1986.
His vice-presidential salary last year amounted to around 1.550 euros, and for most of the year he also received variables that ranged mostly around 300 euros.
