The municipal inspection is intensifying its control over the observance of epidemiological measures in Podgorica, and from September 20 to October 10, together with other services, 1.481 inspections were carried out.
The PG Bureau said that the capital city is following the epidemiological situation with full attention and is acting with the combined forces of all services and companies in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
It is stated that in accordance with the powers of the Law on the Protection of the Population from Infectious Diseases, municipal inspectors, inspectors for tourism and hospitality and for road traffic from September 20 to October 10 performed 1.481 inspections.
"Out of that, 1.107 natural persons, due to not wearing masks, as well as their improper wearing and non-respect of physical distance in an open space," the announcement states.
In most cases, as the PG Bureau added, a preventive verbal warning was issued and the obligation to wear masks correctly was pointed out.
"295 catering facilities, 79 taxis and city transport buses were controlled, 20 misdemeanor orders were issued and a statement was made about their issuance, and the total monetary amount of the imposed fines is 11,8 thousand euros," said the PG Bureau.
