October - the month in which the fight against breast cancer is celebrated around the world, is an important reminder that we should not go to the doctor only when we are sick, and that preventive health care and regular examinations can save someone's life.

Over 3 million women in the world struggle with breast cancer every day, and research has shown that a large percentage of those who are cured, if this serious disease is diagnosed in time.

Breast cancer occurs very rarely in young girls, but with age the risk of this disease increases. The greater risk of contracting this disease comes around the age of 40, and the risk can also be increased by hormone therapy, excess weight and unhealthy habits such as excessive alcohol consumption.
