The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Aleksa Bečić, met with the executive director of the "Parents" Association, Kristina Mihailović, and program coordinator Lepa Žunjić.
The Assembly states that the new model of education that followed as a result of the situation with the coronavirus was the immediate reason for the meeting of the President of the Parliament with the representatives of the Association.
Bečić, as announced, expressed his satisfaction with the many activities of the Association, which have a significant impact on improving the position of parents and children in the social community.
The representatives of the Association informed the President of the Assembly about the activities of the organization and expressed their openness to cooperate with the Parliament through future initiatives.
Bečić, the announcement added, referred to the upcoming work of the Parliament of Montenegro, with an emphasis on the planned activities of the 27th convocation, with the expectation that competent parliamentary working bodies, with the active participation of representatives of the civil sector, will contribute to the consideration and resolution of issues of social importance
"The interlocutors agreed that the support of the Assembly is of key importance in order for numerous issues and initiatives from the civil sector to be adequately recognized," concludes the Assembly's announcement.
