"Euromost" and several NGOs from Bijelo Polska provided wood

"Euromost" and several NGOs from Bijelo Polje provided firewood for the winter to fellow citizen Malića Bibuljica, who lives in difficult conditions.

The action was carried out as part of the International Day of Mutual Aid on October 26.

"On this day, all people are invited, regardless of nationality, religion, race and gender, to look around and look for people who are in dire need of help. This international day serves to remind us that it is necessary to continuously listen to the needs of others . It is necessary to learn and listen to the needs of the people around us, because for those who have nothing, every little thing means a lot. This does not mean only material help, there are many people around us who in some way feel maladjusted and isolated from society, so they only need a person who will listen to them, advise them and share a warm word with them," the statement from the NGO "Euromost" states.

They pointed out that this is the purpose of this day, to forget at least for one day all the obstacles and borders that divide us, and to extend a hand of reconciliation to each other, to help each other in every way.

"There are so many different ways we can help each other: from volunteering, to donating money, to donating blood," reminded the organizers of the action.

They add that there are many people living in the north who still haven't provided wood for the winter, which is why they appealed to competent institutions, but also humane citizens and organizations to join such actions.
