The Center for the Protection and Study of Birds (CZIP) published a video about the Prokletije National Park, with the desire to convey the atmosphere and experience of its rugged landscapes and wild nature, the CZIP announced today.
"Precisely due to the characteristic sharp and difficult-to-access peaks, Prokletije got the name that is associated with the harshness of this mountain massif. However, the visual impression that is gained at the first meeting with Prokletije very quickly changes the knowledge of the natural beauty of this area, beautiful lakes, pastures and forests." , the CZIP press release points out.
The CZIP announcement adds that the border position of Prokletije and the relatively poor traffic connection with the surrounding towns have made this mountain still a very interesting and inexhaustible source of research into untouched nature, especially attractive to nature lovers, mountaineers and alpinists, people with an adventurous spirit.
They stated that the video was made as part of the cross-border project "Development of Ecotourism in the Balkan Alps", which aims at the sustainable development of the cross-border region through joint tourism potentials based on natural and cultural heritage.
"Through the project, the implemented activities contribute to the quality and variety of services, the establishment and promotion of a joint tourist offer, as well as the increased safety of visitors to the Prokletije National Park in Montenegro and the Bjeshket e Nemuna National Park in Kosovo," said CZIP.
