The "Let's drink beer" campaign, which the "Trebjesa" Brewery implemented this year for its most famous brand, Nikšićko Pivo, was crowned with an award at one of the most important regional festivals of marketing communications and advertising "Kaktus".
The campaign for Nikšićko, which was created through the collaboration of this brand, agency Luna TBWA and the band Who See, received an award for An integrated campaign for the foreign market. This is the only campaign from Montenegro that received an award at this year's edition of the "Cactus" festival, where as many as 172 projects from the region competed for awards and recognition.
"Nikšićki Pivo's last campaign, "Let's drink beer", made a turn in our communication, connecting two big Montenegrin brands. Nikšićko Pivo and Who See made much more than another beer advertisement, because they promoted Montenegrin locations and local specificities with their combined efforts. We are proud of the award and the fact that this is one of the best-rated beer advertising campaigns since the tests were conducted in Montenegro.", she said Jelena Pavićević, senior marketing manager at "Trebjesa" Brewery.
The idea of the campaign was to rejuvenate the communication of one of the oldest Montenegrin brands by collaborating with the popular band Who See. This hip hop duo brought a good rhythm and memorable rhymes through the recognizable Bokel slang, and at the same time a new and fresh look at Nikšićko Pivo.
The song "Amo popit po pivo" became a real summer hit, while the entire communication once again showed that Nikšićko Pivo, with a tradition of more than a century, is only a better and more experienced brand and a beer that is always in trend!
"With the Kaktus award in hand, which comes in a very challenging year for everyone, especially the beer industry, we really have a big reason to toast. We may be apart right now, but let's toast to future togetherness", says Pavićević.
The winners of this year's Kaktus awards were decided by an expert jury made up of recognized and respected professionals from creative, PR, digital agencies and production houses from the region.
The Cactus Festival is organized by the Marketing Network, and this year it was held for the 6th time.
