In the Nature Park (PP) "Piva" in Plužine, there are two platforms for observing wild animals and one for observing birds.
The platforms, whose aim is to attract tourists of special interests, have been set up in Jerinići (Jasikovac), Baucali and Barni Dol (Bešići).
Platforms were also installed in the National Park "Sutjeska", in the localities of Donje Bare, Dragaš Selo and Prijevor.
"Feel untouched nature and observe chamois, brown bears, roe deer, bald eagles, grouse, hawks, buzzards, quail and other wild animals and birds in their natural environment in the area of the 'Piva' Nature Park and the 'Sutjeska' National Park", they said from PP "Piva" and NP "Sutjeska".
The platforms were set up as part of the cross-border cooperation project "Tourism, Adrenaline and Rafting Adventure (TARA)", which is implemented by the municipalities of Plužine and Foča, in cooperation with PP "Piva" and the Tourist Organization of the municipality of Foča. The goal of the project, financed by the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is the development and promotion of the cross-border area as a unique destination for active tourism. Its implementation began on December 1, 2019 and continues until the end of November of the following year.
