The Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology registered today at 15:25 a strong earthquake with an epicenter 23 kilometers northeast of Debra in Macedonia, which was also felt in Montenegro.
"The strength of this earthquake in the hypocenter was 4,9 units on the Richter scale, which corresponds to an epicentral intensity of seven degrees on the Mercalli scale," said the Institute.
As they stated, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of one kilometer.
The Institute said that an earthquake of that strength could have caused some material damage in the epicentral area.
