Several houses are under construction in Vreli Ribničke, in the park on state land along the Street of Spanish Fighters.
The residents of that settlement complained to the "News" that the park was "attacked" by illegal construction, that pine trees were also cut down, and they also claim that they reported all this to inspections.
"News" from the Directorate for Inspection Affairs reported that they did not receive a report for illegal construction in the Street of Spanish Fighters, and the same was confirmed from the Capital City.
"The houses were started at the end of October. It's a park, state land. A plateau was created by tearing down pine trees," said one of the locals.
He pointed out that there was a car dump in the park, as well as that there was a large amount of garbage there.
"The construction has been reported to the inspectorate several times, but they cannot find the location," he claims.
However, he did not say to which inspection the usurpation was reported.
The problem of disposal of waste and rubble in the Street of Spanish Fighters was recently pointed out by the Civic Movement URA, and they claim that the inspection bodies do not sanction rest houses.
The "Vijesti" journalist was convinced that the construction of two houses has started in the park - walls have been built on the buildings.
In the immediate vicinity of one of the houses there are several wrecked cars, sand has been unloaded in the park.
The houses were started behind the location where the containers were placed in the Street of Spanish Fighters.
"The houses were recently started. They cut down the pines and started making. It's not the first time this has happened, there used to be a lot of trees at this location, in the park along the street. A lot of them have built houses until now, in previous years the inspection intervened several times, they demolished and prohibited construction", said Samra Adrović.
In addition to illegal construction, Adrovičeva pointed out that waste disposal is also a problem, because there is garbage everywhere.
"The inhabitants of the settlement themselves certainly contributed to that. Admittedly, it is much better now, the communal workers clean regularly, but there are people who dispose of garbage wherever they arrive. Although there are containers, many people throw waste next to them, as well as in the park itself, which can be a real mockery", said Adrović.
The "Vijesti" team did not find anyone at the house construction site when it was in the field, and none of the neighbors across the street wanted to talk to the journalist.
