The capital intends to generate 2021 million euros in revenue in 93,4, according to the draft budget decision.
"The primary goal of the budget policy is the establishment of a sustainable financial system where all current expenses will be covered from the generated income and funds for capital investments will be provided," the explanation of the draft decision on the budget states.
When it comes to their own income, they intend to receive 12,5 million euros from fees for communal equipment of the land, 11,5 from the tax on the income of natural persons, 10,2 from the sale of real estate and 10,1 from the real estate tax. The city administration, headed by Ivan Vuković, expects 9,4 million euros from donations and less than 8,3 million euros from loans and credits.
One of those loans will be used to buy a bus worth five million euros.
"By modernizing the line passenger transport, investments would be made in new, more modern means of transport, replacement of dilapidated and outdated means of transport with new buses, and in this way efficiency and functionality would be increased, i.e. the quality and level of satisfaction of citizens' needs for this type of service", it is stated. in the explanation.
It is added that the Capital considered credit lines for financing projects of environmental protection, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, with favorable credit conditions, which, it is further argued in the explanation, will not represent an additional burden, given the maturity date.
When it comes to current budget spending, it is planned at 36,5 million euros.
The first in terms of expenses will be on transfers, and the second on gross wages of employees and other personal income.
The gross salaries of the employees are planned in the amount of 11,3 million or 31 percent of current expenditures, that is, 12,12 percent of the total budget funds. The number of employees in consumer units of the Capital City on the last day of September was 953, of which 724 relate to administrative and service bodies, and 229 to public institutions founded by the Capital City.
The increase in funds for employees' wages in 2021 in absolute amount is higher by 279.700 euros or 2,53 percent compared to this year. Funds for other personal incomes are planned in the amount of 1,2 million euros, of which the largest part - 464.500 euros will go to transportation allowances, 160.400 to the councilors of the Capital City Assembly and 114.000 to severance pay. The central public discussion on this topic will be held next Wednesday in the Assembly building.
The capital's budget for this year was, by the way, 93,7 million euros, but in the middle of the year it was reduced by more than four million to 89,6 euros.
