The Ministry of Education will repair damage in educational institutions in Plav and Gusinje.
This was announced by the Minister of Education, Damir Šehović, who was in Plav and Gusinje, where he met with the directors of educational institutions from those two municipalities and discussed the damage caused by the recent earthquake.
Šehović, as announced by the Ministry of Education, reiterated the readiness of the Government to help everyone who needs help.
"But he also pointed out that this year more than half a million euros will be invested in educational institutions in these two municipalities. More precisely, the investments will be directed primarily to the construction of sports fields in the Elementary School "Hajro Šahmanović" in Plav and the Elementary School "Džafer Nikočević" in Gusinje, the construction of the regional institution in Vojno Selo in Plav, and the reconstruction of the locksmith shop in the kindergarten in Plav," the announcement states.
It is added that the investment budget of the Ministry this year is about 20 percent higher than the previous one, and that it will be actively directed to the reconstruction of school buildings, with an emphasis on the North.
"It is our obligation that, when schools have a problem that cannot be solved at the primary level, we are involved in solving them, especially in situations like this, which require immediate action so that children stay in a safe environment," said Šehović.
