The municipality of Plužine declared November 22 as the Day of Mourning on the occasion of the death of Serbian Patriarch Irinej.
As stated in the decision signed by the President of the Municipality Mijuško Bajagić, the Day of Mourning is marked by flying the flag at half-mast on the local self-government building.
Organizers of public programs and contents are obliged to adapt their programs to the Day of Mourning. During the Day of Mourning, it is forbidden to broadcast music, that is, to hold entertainment programs in public places.
The head of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC), Patriarch Irinej, died early this morning. Earlier this month, Irinej contracted Covid-19 and was treated at the Military Hospital in Karaburma in Belgrade.
