The President of the Municipality of Herceg Novi, Stevan Katic, declared a Day of Mourning on the territory of that municipality on Sunday, November 22, due to the death of Serbian Patriarch Irinej.
The Day of Mourning is marked by flying the flag at half-mast on the Municipality building, buildings of public institutions and companies founded by the Municipality of Herceg Novi, and facilities of local communities.
Electronic and other media, organizers of public programs and content are obliged to adapt their programs and content to the Day of Mourning. During the Day of Mourning, it is forbidden to broadcast music, that is, to hold entertainment programs in public places.
The local public broadcaster Radio-television Herceg Novi will adapt its program to the commemoration of the Day of Mourning, in such a way that it will broadcast a program that by its nature corresponds to the commemoration of that day.
