Kolašin: The fire in Ljutoja has been active for three days, the terrain is inaccessible

The fire in the Kolasin village of Ljuta, as Željko Darmanović, commander of the Protection Service, said, has been active for three days.

He claims that for now the houses are not threatened. However, he explains, most of the terrain affected by the fire is inaccessible for vehicles and fire fighters. Because of this, the activities of firefighters in that area are also limited.

Locals are engaged to protect buildings by "raking". They also have plenty of water. We also left them two backpacks. "Yesterday, at the invitation of one of the locals, we also visited the old school, which is also not threatened for now," Darmanović told Vijestima.
