The removal technique that we primarily use in our hospital is called TRANSCONJUNCTIVAL BLEPHAROPLASTY - it involves the use of a laser that is accessed through the conjunctiva of the lower eyelid into the space where the fat pads are located.

In this way, they can be completely removed, with no visible scar, sutures, or any sign of surgery.

Also, this approach eliminates the possibility of ectropion (twisting of the lower eyelid), which is, unfortunately, a frequent complication with the standard external incision approach.

Using this technique and the transconjunctival approach, recovery is very fast and all patients leave the clinic on the same day, while most patients are ready to return to their daily activities in 7 days.
