The municipality of Pljevlja has completed the reconstruction of the facades of ten buildings in the city center, so their tenants will welcome the coming year in more energy-efficient buildings.
The Municipality announced that "another building in Skerlićeva street is expected to be rehabilitated, for the reconstruction of which a bidder is being selected."
In addition to the renovated facades, at the state's expense, joinery, entrance and balcony doors, fences on the terraces and gutters were replaced on social buildings, while the tenants replaced the locksmiths in collective housing buildings according to their capabilities.
Through the energy efficiency program, the Government allocated EUR 2019 worth of aid to the Municipality of Pljevlja from the state budget for 490.000 for this purpose. The aid was related to the decoration of facades in the main street, that is, to the implementation of energy efficiency measures on buildings that are heated from the boiler room in Skerlićeva Street.
As announced by the Directorate for Construction and Investments of the Municipality of Pljevlja, EUR 393.000 including VAT has been spent on these works so far, and the works were carried out by the construction company "Tehno-gradnja" from Pljevlja.
"Taking into account the fact that the works were carried out on buildings that were built several decades ago, and in which, due to dilapidated facades and facade openings, more energy was spent to meet life's needs, and according to the calculation of the energy efficiency of the buildings, the amount of energy required for heating the buildings from the boiler room in Skerlićeva Street will decrease by five to seven percent. After the tender procedure has been carried out, the selection and induction of the contractor for the building in Skerlićeva street is expected soon, and the estimated amount for this work is EUR 73.723", said the Directorate.
