The owner of a coffee shop chain in Podgorica and an employee of one of his outlets were brought in for questioning by order of the primary prosecutor on duty, after, despite the ban, they provided catering services today.
The Prosecutor's Office is checking whether they violated the measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
It has been confirmed to "Vijesti" from several sources that the owner of the catering establishment, regardless of the work ban, opened his establishment today.
Restaurateurs previously, dissatisfied with the ban on work during the holiday, announced that they would open their restaurants today and tomorrow.
According to unofficial information, several restaurateurs gathered in front of his establishment to support him.
This evening, several restaurateurs confirmed to "Vijesti" that tourist inspector Andrej Vučeković, accompanied by an officer of the Police Administration, checked whether the adopted measures were being followed, and one coffee shop owner from the city center was allegedly sanctioned.
Most restaurateurs, however, complied with the measures and did not respond to the announced protest and the opening of the cafe.
The "Vijesti" reporter, visiting the center of Podgorica, noticed that only one of the bars served guests, who were sitting in the garden.
