Municipal police will sanction taxi operators

The municipal police of the Capital City of Podgorica will sanction all taxi carriers who do not act in accordance with the positive regulations, which refer to the obligation to obtain special license plates PG-TX with a number.

The Communal Police announced that the deadline for harmonizing taxi transport activities with the provisions of the Decision on auto-taxi transport expired on Saturday.

"Accordingly, and in order to act efficiently and legally, it is necessary for taxi carriers who have a license to carry out auto-taxi transport to harmonize their operations with the provisions of the decision in question, with special reference to the acquisition of special license plates PG-TX with the number", it is stated in the announcement.

Otherwise, as they announced, communal policemen will, in accordance with the powers prescribed by the Law on communal police, in connection with the provisions of the Road Transport Act and the provisions of the Decision on auto-taxi transport, sanction all taxi operators who do not act in accordance with positive regulations.
