Construction of the pedestrian zone in front of the "Slobodan Škerović" gymnasium has begun.

The works on the arrangement of the pedestrian zone in front of the Gymnasium "Slobodan Škerović" started today, and the deadline for the completion of the works is 90 days, they said from the capital city of Podgorica.

"The project envisages the conversion of the existing road into a pedestrian area with stamped concrete, with the fact that the passage for emergency vehicles will be enabled. The pedestrian area is 12,35 meters wide and 130,55 meters long. The contracted value is 282.414,99 euros, and the contractor of works is "Grand design" from Podgorica," announced the PG Bureau.

As they state, from the accompanying infrastructure, the construction of water supply, fecal and atmospheric sewage, electrical installations of high and low current is planned.

"The equipment consists of concrete benches, stainless steel posts, an underground container and lighting. Also, the reconstruction envisages the greening of the area and the formation of a new line of trees next to the fence of the gymnasium.
