The development of sports and youth policy in the north is one of the key priorities of the Directorate for Sports and Youth, said its director Vasilije Lalošević.

Today, he hosted the delegation of the municipality of Andrijevica, the president and vice-president of the municipality Željko Ćulafić and Vesko Raketić and MP Dragan Vukić.

Lalošević pointed out that the Administration for Sports and Youth, through close cooperation with local self-governments, will continuously work on improving conditions in them, all with the aim of providing the necessary support to youth and athletes from all Montenegrin regions who have the right to equally develop their capacities and desires.

Lalošević emphasized that in the previous period, the institution of which he is now the head, in Andrijevica, co-financed the construction of stands on the field of FC "Komovi".

"For those purposes, funds in the amount of 20,3 thousand euros have been allocated," said Lalošević.

The reconstruction of the school's sports hall in Andrijevica was discussed, in order to create conditions for "Komova" handball players to train in their home town and play matches in front of their own audience.

Lalošević said that other state bodies must be involved, but the Directorate for Sports and Youth will always try to initiate such and similar ideas.

"The development of sports infrastructure is one of the key priorities of the Directorate for Sports and Youth. It is of colossal importance to understand that athletes must receive adequate conditions in order to progress accordingly. "Our athletes have always brought the greatest joy to Montenegro, and therefore we have a duty to repay them in no less measure," said Lalošević.

When it comes to youth policy, the Directorate for Sports and Youth remains committed to its long-term goal of providing youth access to all aspects of social, social and political life and improving their conditions.

"Accordingly, one of the issues that was initiated during the conversation is the opening of the Youth Club in Andrijevica," the statement says.
