The rector of the seminary in Cetinje, Gojko Perović, asked the citizens not to use the desecration of the Cetinje monastery to deepen divisions.

A series of photos appeared on social networks in which younger people take pictures with tricolors in front of the Cetinje Monastery and at the place where the cross on the monastery gate was recently broken.

"We call on citizens not to use the consequences of a senseless act by an unknown perpetrator to deepen division and revenge. The Cetinje monastery and the area in front of it is a place of brotherly love and God's peace," said Perović in a statement delivered to Vijesti.
