Jočić: The road to the Black Lake is not maintained, it is covered with snow and ice, we are suffering enormous damages

The President of the Management Board of the Public Enterprise for National Parks of Montenegro, Marina Jočić, announced that during the entire winter season in Žabljak, the road to the Black Lake is not maintained and is covered with snow and ice.

As she announced, due to such a situation, the JP for national parks suffers huge damages and that "only the most persistent and physically prepared" reach the Black Lake.

"Appeals to the local utility company and other entities in charge of road maintenance are in vain. The workers of NP Durmitor, although it is not within their jurisdiction, are doing their best to make the road to the Jezera usable, but it is not enough and we suffer huge damages every day," she said. is Jocic.

He adds that it doesn't matter to the employees of that company "whether it is the incompetence or the evil intent of the local government", but also that NP Durmitor and the entire tourism in Žabljak are suffering due to "inaction and carelessness".

"That's why we ask that during the day, the improvement of the mentioned road should be started, for the benefit of the citizens of Žabljak, the Durmitor National Park and the entire winter tourist season," announced Jočić.
