Director of the Montenegrin Police Slavko Stojanović today dismissed the head of the Security Center in Herceg Novi, Petar Ognjenović, and replaced him with Goran Banićević, who once held that position, TV News has learned.
In March 2013, one month after becoming the director of the Police Directorate, Stojanović had just dismissed Banićević and replaced him with Miloš Vučinić.

The Police Directorate announced that today, considering the needs of the service, the director of the MUP Police Directorate, Slavko Stojanović, made personnel changes at the level of the Herceg Novi Security Center, the Kotor Security Department and the Tivat Security Department.
The announcement adds that Živko Ćorić has been appointed as the head of the Kotor police, while Dragan Kontić has been appointed as the head of the Tivat police.
"Goran Banićević, who until now was a senior police inspector of the XNUMXst class for control of the legality of the application of police powers in the Department for Internal Control of Police Work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was appointed as the chief of CB Herceg Novi. Živko Ćorić, who until today was a senior police inspector in CB Herceg Novi, is the new chief of OB Kotor. The new chief of OB Tivat is Dragan Kontić, who until today was a senior police inspector in SKP. The previous chiefs of CB Herceg Novi, OB Kotor and OB Tivat, Petar Ognjenović, Marko Radusin ović and Milan Radović, will be assigned to other jobs and tasks, according to the needs of the service," the Police Administration (UP) announced.
The statement adds that the dynamics of the fight against organized crime and the past and future functioning of the "Boka" operational headquarters, in addition to the planning of all police activities, also require certain personnel changes, so that successful police activities to suppress the activities of organized criminal groups are continued and intensified.
"Personnel changes, according to the needs and assessments of the service, will be carried out in the following period as well," said the UP.
