The first contingent of vaccines will arrive in Montenegro on Wednesday, it was confirmed by "Vijesti" in the Government of Montenegro.
Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović said that he had previously spoken with Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and that they had agreed on the details of the donation.
"I can confirm that the vaccines will arrive in Montenegro tomorrow around 18.30:XNUMX p.m. The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, will hand over the donation to the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Zdravko Krivokapić. The Government of Montenegro expresses great gratitude for this selfless and humane gesture, which is an excellent introduction to better bilateral cooperation between the two of the state," said Abazović.
It is expected that 2.000 vaccines from a total of 4.000 doses, which Serbia will donate to the citizens of Montenegro, will arrive in Podgorica tomorrow.
Although it was speculated that the handover of the vaccine would be at the Dobrakovo border crossing, officials of the Republic of Serbia will hand over the donation to the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Zdravko Krivokapić, at the Podgorica airport in Golubovci. This was confirmed by "Vijesta" at the top of the Montenegrin Government.
