The police detained two people on suspicion of killing a bear in the village of Rovci yesterday, and they will be brought before the prosecutor today.
This was announced to "Vijesta" from the Security Center of Berana, with the note that the resolution of this case was, as they said, thanks to good cooperation with the citizens.
Last night, the police detained several people from the village of Donja Ržanica, after the public in Berane and beyond was disturbed yesterday by the information that a bear that wandered into the city that day after the operation to rescue the bears was killed in a plantation in the town of Jela-Breze.

The police told "Vijesta" that they confiscated weapons and paraffin gloves from the two young men who are suspected of having done this, and that they hope the case is solved. They mentioned that the remains of the bear were transported to Podgorica for an autopsy to be performed in a specialized institution.
