Tonight, the government announced that the first contingent of Sputnik V vaccines secured through direct negotiations with Russia will arrive on Thursday.
They remind that the first vaccines against the coronavirus arrived in Montenegro a week ago, as a donation from Serbia.
"Immunization of priority groups has begun," it was announced on the Government's Twitter account.
Minister of Health Jelena Borovinić Bojović previously announced that 5.000 doses of the Russian vaccine would arrive on Thursday, and that 30.000 doses of the Chinese vaccine would leave Beijing on Saturday.
Yesterday, she received the Sputnik V vaccine at the Clinical Center and said that the goal of her department is mass immunization.
Borovinić Bojović announced that the second delivery of vaccines from Belgrade would arrive in time for revaccination with those doses.
